What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device when you visit a website. Cookies enable the basic functions of the site, improve the user experience, and enable analytics and marketing. Some cookies are essential for the site's operation, while others require your consent.

You can manage your cookie settings at any time by clicking the "Cookie settings" button at the bottom of the page. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings – note, however, that this may affect the site's functionality.

How to Manage Cookies

  • Through the website: Click "Cookie settings" at the bottom of the page. You can change your preferences at any time.
  • Through browser settings: Most browsers allow you to delete and block cookies. Instructions can be found on your browser's support pages.
  • Third-party tools: You can disable Google Analytics using the Google Analytics Opt-out Add-on.

Other Tracking Technologies

In addition to cookies, we may use similar tracking technologies, such as:

  • Pixel tags: Small image elements that track conversions and user activity (e.g., Meta Pixel).
  • Local Storage: Browser storage keeps your cookie preferences (taimi_consent). If you allow user-experience storage, the Journal prompt also uses session storage and a 30-day cookie to avoid repeating the same question. Feedback text is never stored in the browser.
  • Server logs: Our servers automatically collect technical information (IP address, browser type, timestamp) for security and troubleshooting purposes. This information is not used to identify individual users.

Google Consent Mode v2

We use Google Consent Mode v2 technology, which ensures that no personal data is sent to Google before you have given your consent. Before your consent, all Google cookies and tracking are disabled by default ("denied" state). Consent Mode enables aggregated, anonymized conversion modeling even when you have not given consent – this modeling does not use individual users' personal data.
